Length of shower

Today was a 3/4 beer shower.

in 2 minutes was asked 5 questions (by young ones) then a toilet was flushed.

i gave up on the shower but not the beer.

odell's 90 shilling scottish ale. 

sweet enough from the grain bill but not complex, i like this beer more as a scottish looking amber. 

it is very refreshing in session sort of way!

Length of shower

A one beer shower.

Trippel, another one of those beers that offers a lot. even before the drink you get the yeast and hops punch and the taste has that slight coriander.

one of the "fools" characteristics i have with this beer is that it has a light color and bright white head (when poured in a glass) equates to light and refreshing. if it is hot i want a trippel.

and it has been damn hot lately.

100+ again & corn

Today's temp is to break 100 degrees again. fortunately it is the high of the week.

The US department of agriculture has put only 35% of nebraska's corn at good to excellent.
55% of irrigated and 5% of dry corn are good to excellent. 28% is fair and 37% is poor to very poor.
nationally corn is at a much lower percent of good to excellent, only 24%.

once again it is the combination of higher temperatures and very low precipitation.
currently we are at 64% extreme drought.
